Site Closed!

Now that Trigun Maximum is over, this site will no longer be updated. I’ll be keeping the scans until the last volume is published by Dark Horse, though.

And thank you, Yasuhiro Nightow and Young King Ours, for a great series. I enjoyed it right up until the end.

On hiatus

I am just swamped with real-life work projects and don’t have time to scan stuff at the moment, sorry! But don’t despair! Visit Ricki’s Trigun Maximum Planet and there’ll you find links to current chapter translations and links to raw scans of the chapters. Much better than what I was providing…

Feb 2007 YKO

Jan 24, 2007

This has got to be close to the conclusion. For those keeping track, by the end of this chapter it looks like there’s no white left in Vash’s hair and he also looks as if he’s reached the end of his endurance, poor guy.

Vash suddenly snaps out of the "I see dead people!" thing, realizing he’s still got to stop Knives, I assume. He grabs for a feather; that was the fist thing by Meryl’s face that closed the last chapter. The plant conglomerate and beast are connected to each other as well as to Knives, who’s in turn connected to the power base on the planet below by that cord.

There’s an odd moment where the plant beast thing starts to weep, and Knives does for a moment as well. Then Vash—ouside the ship—grabs the end of the cord and touches it to his neck, kind of plugging into the whole conglomerate. Either his extra power short-circuits it or else his power cancels the other out, because the plant mass and beast thing disintegrate. Knives is freaking out, but angrily manages to cut the cord.

Vash falls off the ship and to the ground as millions of feathers float down all around him. Like I said above, it doesn’t seem as if he has much more in him to fight. But…he has to, because Knives is apparently still standing (er, floating I guess that would be.)

I’ve been getting upwards of 20 spam submissions a day and I’m tired of the hassle of having to delete all that junk, so I’ve disabled comments. Sorry!

I’m going to try to remember to scan a few pages from the latest chapter tomorrow. I’ve left myself a note and everything. :x

Dec/Jan Scans

Dec 27, 2006

Finally! Scans from the December YKO and the January YKO.

December’s chapter was short, with Knives surviving the attack of the Earth ships and facing off against their commander at the end. The January chapter was basically Knives causing trouble, Vash seeing dead people, and Meryl having a close call until Vash rallies for what must be the opening strike of his final fight against Knives.

Or so I hope. Nightow has been building up to this for three years now, so time to get this fight going at long last!
